The minimum wage of Nepali workers has been increased in South Korea

In South Korea, the minimum wage of all Nepali domestic and foreign workers, has been increased. The meeting of the Wage Determination Committee has increased the current salary by five percent to 9,160 Korean Won per hour.

According to the salary, which will be implemented from 2022, the current hourly wage has increased from 8,720 Korean Won to 440 Won. Accordingly, even working five days a week and only eight hours a day, the monthly income will be 19.14 million 440 won. This amount is about two lakh Nepali rupees.

A meeting held at the government complex Sejong on Monday decided to raise wages at midnight.
