Kathmandu. A government study has shown that corona infection has been confirmed in 40 percent of TB patients in Nepal.

Chest specialist Dr. According to Navin Prakash Sah, the symptoms of tuberculosis and covid-19  are almost the same and it has been emphasized that tuberculosis should be tested along with corona.

Dr. According to Sah, both tuberculosis and Covid-19 are respiratory diseases. The symptoms of both diseases are similar. If someone has symptoms like fever, fatigue, chest pain, etc., he suggested to check for  covid-19 as well as TB-related sputum.

He said that coronary heart disease in patients with tuberculosis has been shown to cause pneumonia and serious respiratory problems. He has also requested to be safe by adopting more facilitation in time.
