The schedule of the House of Representatives election by the Commission is public
Kathmandu. The Election Commission has made public the schedule of the House of Representatives election. As per the schedule, the date for registration of political parties has been fixed from July 16 to July 30. Prime Minister KP Oli had dissolved the House of Representatives and announced the first round of elections on November 11 and the second round on November 19. Accordingly, the Election Commission has made public the election schedule. As per the schedule, the election period will start from July 13. Information for party registration will be published on the same day. The commission will publish the final voter list on September 8.
The date for registration of candidates for the first phase of the election has been fixed from 20th September to 21st September. The final list of candidates will be published on September 10 and the candidates will be given election symbols on the same day. The first phase of the election is scheduled to be held on October 10. Similarly, the date for registration of candidates for the second phase of the election has been fixed from September 16 to October 20. The list of candidates whose nomination papers have been registered will be published on October 20 and the final list of candidates will be published on October 20. Election symbol will be given to the candidate on the same day. Voting will take place on November 19.
