Kathmandu, March 5
Prabhu Bank has handed over the QR code to the Talabarahi Temple Guthi Management Committee in Pokhara for managing the collected gifts and Dakshina through digital technology.
Rewati Prasad Nepal, Executive Director of the Money Management Department of Nepal Rastra Bank, handed over the QR code at a function at Barahi Temple in the middle of Fewa Lake this morning.
With this facility, devotees can easily donate to the temple through their mobile banking application. The bank said the service was launched with the objective of promoting digital transactions and cashless transactions by gradually displacing cash transactions.
